Dedicated practice during whatever free time we have helps improve our tango. But perhaps there’s another strategy we can try…

Someone once opined to me that good dancers tend to put more effort into dressing up for milongas. And then we wondered:  Do good dancers actually dress up more, or does dressing up make them better dancers?

I don’t know, and I’m sure many of you have wondered the same thing.

If the second part has any truth to it, I suppose it’s for this reason: that by “dressing the part” of a good dancer, we’re more likely to put effort into our tango so as to “become the part.”

Sounds like a fun experiment to try while the T-shirt and ripped jeans are in the wash…
